My recommendation for buying a CE is to buy it from ebay. The code is printed on a sticky label, which is located inside the DVD case, stuck to the case underneath the DVD. It’s not a seperate key to the game keycode, i don’t think any of the digital contents with the CE has separate keys, it’s all included in 1 keycode. Yes the code needed to gain the wings is the main key with the CE, the one that is the keycode for the actual base game. Feeling “special” over a simple palette swap is ludicrous in this day and age. The whole special snowflake argument doesn’t really hold water considering that the set dungeon basic wings are essentially a recolor of the vanilla and RoS CE wings. This is one time that Blizzard should really consider adding these in as a shop purchase, if for no other reason than to protect its players from scams due to a feature so many of them want. The vanilla CE wings do not have such an expiry date, but again, the scam potential is huge for vanilla D3 CEs due to the costs involved. CE activtaions after that time do not include the wings. The wings that came with Reaper of Souls are no longer available at all - those were limited to pre-orders and CE activations prior to 11:59 PM PST on March 31st, 2014. The code that would grant you the wings from the vanilla D3 is the same game key used to attach that CE to your account. Which code is required to get the wings? Is it the game code located at the bottom, inside of the case? Below the DVD holder?
